The actor, the anchor, the sports presenter, Mandira Bedi now adds another feather to her cap.. the designer. Known as the one who glamorized saris and the noodle strap, Mandira takes her love affair with the sari to the next level.

Mandira's label is a reflection of who she is. Her tag line is simple; every item of clothing designed by her is something she would wear herself. Her saris are traditional yet quirky, classic yet inventive, elaborate yet minimal and au courant. A fusion of fabrics, colour and detail allows anyone from a teenager to a glam gran mum to carry off her designs.
Talking about her new venture, an ecstatic Mandira says, “Being on a panel of experts and talking cricket had more perks than I had imagined! It got me to be associated with the most beautiful garment: The Sari.. The more I wore saris, the more I grew to love them. The sari is the most versatile garment ever. It can be formal, conservative, fun and sexy! And so to make my relationship with the sari even stronger, one day I walked into a fabric store and bought a few fabrics. I took them to a tailor and I told him what to do. And thats just how it got going! As the days went by, I really started to enjoy colors and fabrics. My saris have never been about heavy work and lots of embroidery. I like to believe they radiate color and drama. They are effective and affordable! I hope they please your eyes as much as they please mine!
