Beware Apx Rs 1.25 crore fraud by an Event Company - now absconding

One such serious incident that has been brought to our notice, hence eventaa News has decided to take up the issue to ensure that no other colleagues of our industry fall prey to this person.

Sohanbhai Purohit, the owner of Raj Events, Ahmedabad has been accused in a fraud case. It has been alleged that he took off with rented items worth Rs 1.25 crores from few vendors. Eventaa News confirmed this matter with  2 of the many victims, Bhadresh Desai and Hemesh Trivedi who were preys to this unfortunate incident. Mr Samir Shah ( President of Association) confirmed that the incident took place during the first week of February. The accused is said to have committed fraud with approximately 20 vendors. The proofs and pieces of evidence are present with the vendors.

The search for this person is continued and the police inquiry is also in progress.
