RMAI Celebrates 15 Years In The Rural Marketing Industry

Founded in 2005, the Rural Marketing Association of India is successfully starting the year 2020 with its 15th anniversary. Since its inception, the premier and not-for-profit industry body represents agencies and companies involved in rural marketing and has reached great heights.

With a membership base of more than 70 companies, RMAI helps marketers plan and implement their rural marketing activities. It creates a national network of marketers that offers a unique base of leadership, expertise and inspiration that works towards effective and sustainable marketing communications.The association has over 200 individual and corporate members spanning across advertising & communications, media, IT, academic, activations and last mile distribution among other sectors with involvement across a wide range of brand marketing and communication verticals


On this landmark achievement,President of the Association, Mr. Biswa Chakrabarti, shared a special video message putting light on this journey.

 

On the achievement of this milestone, Himanshu Shah, Chief Mentor SOI Live & General Secretary of RMAI,commented, "2020 marks 15 years of RMAI and I couldn’t be more proud of what we've accomplished together on the path laid by the founder's and predecessors. Year on year a lot has  evolved since the inception of this industry body but what hasn’t changed is our ethos. I hope to see more young blood entering the rural marketing industry with passage of time. 15 years!!! I guess it’s really just days and hours of time for others. But at RMAI, it’s what we have done with that time that really matters and I’m very excited to see what the next 15 years will bring."
 
 

Pradeep Kashyap, Founder & CEO, Mart Global Management Solutions LLP said, "15 years back a handful of us were passionate and had a dream. This was the genesis of RMAI. Today it is a reality, a highly respected industry body representing agencies and corporates involved in rural marketing".
