One love festival organisers pleaded guilty for breaching public safety rules

One love festival organisers were fined after putting public safety at risk. 

They both pleaded guilty to offences under the Licensing Act of the festival. The local authority looking after festival, South Somerset District Council expressed strong concerns and withdrew support for the event yet the One Love Festival went ahead as planned and breached several of the licencing conditions. 

The organisers were pleaded guilty for breaching conditions like failure to adequately manage traffic safely, Failure to put in place an adequate water supply, Failure to sign off certificates for demountable structures,Incorrect on-site speed limit of 10 mph instead of 5mph,Lanes and road entrances were inadequately lit during the hours of darkness, and so on.
