Sony Launches Wireless Microphone System to Transmit Quality Sound Recorded Through Camcorders

Sony Electronics has announced an addition to its UWP-D series wireless microphone systems. The new UWP-D series enables direct digital audio recording and high sound quality.  The UWP-D12 wireless microphone package offers a complete UWP-D audio system that includes the UTX-M03 handheld microphone transmitter and URX-P03 portable receiver. 

The UWP-D12 package offers wide frequency coverage with up to 72 MHz bandwidth (depending on region) across a wide range of channels.  The microphone transmitter also gives the option of using interchangeable heads with over 40 different capsules from various manufacturers available that can be mounted.  The small size receiver fits neatly on any size camcorder or DSLR camera. The other two variants include UWP-D16 belt-pack wireless microphone package and the UWP-D11 belt-pack wireless microphone package.
